End of Summer Steals Under $50

Do you love end-of-season sales like me? If so, you’re in luck because I’ve compiled a list of summer steals just for us tall ladies.

You may be wondering whether it’s worth it to buy any more summery items since summer is winding down. It’s most certainly worth it and here’s why. If you live in climates that are warmer year round (like my home state of California), you can continue to wear most or all of these styles even after summer fades to fall. If you live in a locale that gets chillier in the fall and winter, you can still wear some summer items by pairing them with cold-weather friendly pieces like blazers, tights, boots and jackets. Or, just tuck these steals away and you’ll have some new clothing to look forward to once the warmer weather rolls around.

Fall Trends: Womens Booties Under $100

Since I’ve been seeing so many fall lines launch lately, I figured it’s time to turn my attention to some styles for us tall ladies to wear in the cooler weather so that we’re prepared when the temperature eventually drops. Booties are the perfect transitional shoe for fall into early winter because they will keep your feet warm and toasty but still allow your legs to be unhindered by full-length boots. You can start by wearing them with bare legs in the early fall and then pair them with tall tights or leggings once the weather turns chilly. If you’re wondering whether or not you’ll be able to pair them with many things in your closet, the answer is simple: you can wear them with almost anything including skirts, dresses, jeans, shorts, jumpsuits. I think you get the idea!

Summer Staples: Womens Tall Shorts and V-Neck Tees

True confessions! I haven’t owned a pair of shorts in years because I’ve gravitated more toward skirts and dresses for the summer. After seeing how fabulous several other tall ladies look in shorts, I’ve decided it’s high time I try to find some for myself.

To ease myself into shorts-wearing, I’ve been keeping an eye out for some long-length shorts that fall just above the knee. These tall walking shorts from Ann Taylor seem perfect because I would be able to dress them up or down. The 98% cotton fabric is ideal for hot summer days and the 2% spandex would add to the comfort and make for a flattering fit.

For a casual look, I paired the shorts with a tall striped v-neck tee. To add a touch of glam, I layered a couple of gold necklaces and finished off the look with a pair of gold sandals and a pretty bracelet. I could see myself running errands in this outfit or meeting up with friends for lunch. For a dressier look, I’d switch out the flat sandals for some high-heeled sandals or wedges and replace the t-shirt with a pretty blouse.

Based on the rave reviews of the shorts and the current sale price, they are a great find!

Work it! Tall Tanks for Working Out

In order to tone up for summer, I recently started a 30-day exercise program that involves doing a workout every single day. Yikes! My previous workout routine only involved working out a maximum of 2-3 days per week, and I had more than enough tall activewear to support that schedule. Now that I’m exercising more frequently, I’m on the lookout for fabulous tall activewear to add to my collection. Here are some extra-long workout tanks that have caught my eye.

Moisture-wicking tall racer-back tank (6 colors; Sizes: Small – XXL)

How fun is the print on this tank? Cute workout clothes motivate me to workout and this one will have me hitting the gym in no time.

Floral tall tank (Sizes: XS-XL)

This top is right on trend with its floral print, pop-of-color trim and flattering racer-back style.

Plus-size racer-back tank (Colors: Lilac, Black or White; Sizes: 1x-3x)

While this tank is not tall-sized per se, it is the same length as some of the other tall workout tanks listed in this round-up. I really love the pretty lilac color!

I’m always a fan of a high-neck workout top so that I don’t have to worry about keeping everything covered while I’m bending over. Another great
