Has this ever happened to you? You find the most beautiful skirt and when you try it on it’s a tad bit too short. Perhaps if you tugged on it a little more, it might work. But then you sit down and suddenly this skirt is 3″ too short. Oh no! Another wasted skirt. This is a common problem for tall women, but I’ve come across the perfect solution and they are called skirt extenders.

Skirt extenders are a slip you wear under your skirt or dress and they have several inches of ruffle lace, or layers of ribbons. I’ve also seen them made from tulle. You put on the slip and it hangs down lower  than your skirt or dress. The above skirt extender has a 28″ length – which will hit many tall women just under the knee.

I found an Etsy store that will create a custom length skirt extender in whatever length you need.
