My kids start school tomorrow, which means that I will be back to a regular posting schedule. It’s been a crazy busy Summer. Today I want to share with you what jeans my picky boys like.
My tall teen boys really like the fit and feel of Lucky Brand men’s jeans. They both have different body types.
Tall & Regular Build
My 16 year old son is 6’0″ tall and wears size 34″ x 34″. He will be around 2 inches taller next Summer after he has back surgery for scoliosis. Yep, his back is that messed up. Bummer! Anyway, he has a huskier build than my younger son as he plays football. The two styles of jeans he likes are :

Tall & Slim Build
My 14 year old son is very tall and thin built. He wears a size 31″ x 34″ but is almost a 35″ inseam. The thing about Lucky Brand Jeans is that they are hand sewn and cut and often have varying lengths. Since we bought their jeans in a local outlet store, we were able to pull out the jeans and see which ones tend to range a little longer. The normal consensus was that the darker the wash, they tend to be cut a little longer.
Here are two pairs in the same size and you can see how the darker pair is much longer – like 1-1.5″ longer. Sorry about the terrible picture quality. So if you wear a 34.5″ inseam or 35″ inseam, some of these jeans may work. They only sell up to 34″ inseams in store and the 36″ inseams are online only!
