There’s nothing like a Fall hike. With the beautiful changing leaves and the crisp air, it’s the perfect time to explore the mountains. I’ve put together a comfortable men’s tall outfit for hiking. Tall cargo pants pockets can hold extra gear and I’ve paired it with an bright orange henley so you will easily be seen in case any hunters are in the area. You don’t want to be mistaken for a deer.

Fall weather is fickle. The mornings can be frosty cold but by afternoon it’s baking hot and you find yourself sweating. But, in the evening you may have a football game to watch and it’s freezing cold, so you need several layers to keep you comfortable. If you experience weather like we do in Utah, then you may want to dress like the example outfit below. Add or shed the sweater and jacket as the weather dictates.

A few days ago I received a Coldwater Creek Catalog in the mail. I knew they had gone through some sort of bankruptcy reorganization, so I was a thrilled to see the catalog again. I went online to see for myself and sure enough Coldwater Creek is open for business again. This store was always a great resource for the tall, plus size women, but so far, I’m only seeing one style of the tall sizes in plus sizes. Hopefully they will add more. But, what I am finding is tall pants and jeans up to 35″ inseam lengths, and fabulous accessories.
