Tall Holiday Outfit

I wore this tall holiday outfit to an open house. You can’t go wrong with classic red and black. My sweater and shoes actually are the same red color, but the color is a little off in the photo. I criss crossed tucked my cardigan into the pants in the front as the gold buttons on the pants beg to be shown.

Tall Mother of the Groom Dresses

I was contacted for help in finding a tall mother of the groom dress. I can certainly relate to how hard this is to find as I am in the same predicament. My own son is getting married right after Christmas and I’m frantically on the hunt for the same thing. Although the colors requested for this tall personal shopping request are similar, they are not the same. But, hey, what’s your tall best friend to do? I dropped everything today to help this special tall woman out.

Some of the items below are in tall sizes. As we all know, you may need to order a few options and in different sizes and send back what doesn’t work. Unfortunately, that is the reality. Also, I have added some custom made dresses and surprisingly the prices are pretty good. Just make sure you follow instructions on how to add the custom sizing.

The best advice I was given lately from a stylish woman I trust was that the mother of the groom dress should blend with the colors, but doesn’t have to match exactly. That is the freedom I needed to give me more options.

Adventures in Italy

I am a travel agent and recently returned from a trip to Italy. I was invited to tour the Piemonte region in Northern Italy starting in Turin and then exploring the wine country. Then I was able to fly down to Rome for a few days. What an amazing trip!

I love touring castles and palaces and one of my favorite places we visited this trip was La Venaria Reale, which served as a hunting lodge for the Savoy family. Here I am in the gallery. Isn’t it gorgeous? My outfit consists of comfortable basics. I especially love my crossbody bag as it was convenient for keeping my passport hidden and had plenty of room for my sunglasses and other travel necessities.
