I am a travel agent and recently returned from a trip to Italy. I was invited to tour the Piemonte region in Northern Italy starting in Turin and then exploring the wine country. Then I was able to fly down to Rome for a few days. What an amazing trip!

I love touring castles and palaces and one of my favorite places we visited this trip was La Venaria Reale, which served as a hunting lodge for the Savoy family. Here I am in the gallery. Isn’t it gorgeous? My outfit consists of comfortable basics. I especially love my crossbody bag as it was convenient for keeping my passport hidden and had plenty of room for my sunglasses and other travel necessities.

Tall Capsule Wardrobe from Long Tall Sally

I’m super excited to show you a tall capsule wardrobe I developed using 12 pieces from Long Tall Sally. It’s amazing how many outfits can be created when you start with great basics. These colors are perfect for fall and winter. You may even have similar items in your own closet, so feel free to use what you have and add the missing pieces.

Funky Clear Rain Boots

I usually play it safe with fashion trends, but today I’m jumping on the clear boots trend. I love how fun it is to change out your socks for different looks. The one draw back is that when I rolled my cuffs of my socks down, after a couple of hours my feet got a bit hot. I unrolled them to let some air in for a few minutes and that took care of the issue.
