Mens Tall Casual Fridays Dressed Up

Many offices allow you to dress down a little on casual Fridays. But, the lines often get blurred between what you feel like wearing and what is proper. If you’re in an office that requires a suit and tie everyday, then casual Fridays do not mean jeans. A pair of chinos with a dress shirt is always a winner. But it doesn’t mean you have to wear the predictable pair of tan chinos. Today’s look is for the stylish tall man who wants to take his look from the office to a nice dinner after work.

Cool Men’s Tall Sport Shirts for Summer

It’s Summer and we know you love to run around in t-shirts and shorts. However, many of you have jobs that require you to dress per the work dress code. These jobs can require you to wear anything from casual to full business suits. If you fit this category, sometimes you can get away with wearing a semi-casual shirt as long as your pants are a bit dressier. Chambray for Him

I’ve mentioned quite a few times that I love chambray. So you can imagine my delight as I’ve stumbled upon a few options for men…and TALL men at that! I realize this might be a bit of a risk for some of you. But trust me when I say, you will look great rocking this trend. Not sure how to wear it? Try it with khakis or even darker denim. Most men don’t own colored denim (and I am not suggesting you run out and get a pair), but if you do, chambray + colored denim never gets old. Feeling a bit scared to try it? Why not try it just with shoes or a tie? White shirt + Khakis + Chambray kicks OR white button down + chambray tie + khakis= laid back guy style. Just keep everything else simple and go for it. Here are a few pieces to consider:

Row 1: 1969 striped chambray utility shirt in indigo stripe (Tall). DC Studio TX SE. Up to size 14.

Men’s Slim Fitting Tall Dress Shirts: Tall Personal Shopper

Client: Carl, a tall man who is having a hard time finding slim and modern fitting tall dress shirts that fit his neck and arms without being too baggy in the chest area.

Wants: Dress Shirts in size Chest 40 – 42, Neck 17.5, Sleeve 36 / 37, Slim / Modern fit

Budget: Prefers under $50 but could go as high as $100.

One idea is to get a custom made dress shirt from Blank Label. Their custom shirts start at $85.
To get proper measurements, you can either visit a tailor, or you can lay down a shirt that fits you well on a flat surface and take your measurements. Then you can easily enter them on their website.

This blue stripe shirt is $90.

My son has a 16″ neck, but just this past weekend, we had to have a dress shirt for a band competition. We ended up having to get one with a 17.5″ neck to fit his 36″ arms. Here is the shirt we purchased. It has a bit of stretch and feels nice:
