I’m pretty much beach obsessed and I’ve always loved nautical/tropical clothing and accessories. Since I live in Utah, {wiping a tear}, trips to the beach are infrequent. When I wear nautical styles I just feel happy! Doesn’t everyone? Hence the recent posts on boat shoes. Plus this is a timeless trend, so you can collect nautical clothing and wear them for years! I’m going to the Bahamas in a couple of months and I can’t wait! {insert heel click} I’m shopping heavily for nautical items. Enjoy my picks:

Casting Tall Women for a Reality TV Show!

Have you dreamed of being on a reality tv show? If you’re a tall woman and own your own business than now’s your opportunity!

Hmm. I fall into this category. Maybe I should apply! However, I don’t think that my life of sitting here blogging and finding you cool clothes is that terribly exciting! So, I’m going to just pass this on to all of you. I am not affiliated with this company, so I can’t vouch for the validity of the offer. Here is the email I received with the details:

Reality TV Show Casting Letter

Dear Krista,

Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Karan Vyas and I am a casting associate with Red Varden Studios, a Los Angeles-based production company that develops television series for a variety of cable networks.

We are currently casting for a new reality TV show featuring women who are 6′ or taller that work together or own a business. We are looking for interesting and charismatic characters for their own show. Intriguing tall women and their tall friends/family are encouraged to apply!

To be considered, candidates should submit the following to RVScasting@yahoo.com: photographs of all potential candidates (both group photos and individual photos of each candidate), a description of the roles or jobs of each candidate, the personal story of the candidates and why those stories would make for compelling television, the city and state they live in, and contact information (name, phone number, email).
