5 Hats for Big and Tall Guys

Every time the weather heats up, I get a few requests for help in finding hats for big and tall guys. As a woman with a head that’s bigger than most, I know how it hurts to wear hats that squeeze my head. Mr. Tall has a big head too, so we match! “Head move, now!” Do you remember that movie? Yep, that’s probably us. Anyway, we’d look dumb if we had a little head on top of our tall bodies, so it’s all proportional people! 🙂 Here’s my top 5 picks in big and tall hats:

Personal Shopping: 31 Waist by 38 Inseam Pants

Wants: “Slim fit preferred (not skinny) but regular is OK. (If possible no relaxed fit or comfort fit as I find them too baggy on my frame.)”

Thanks for reaching out to me. I know many tall and thin guys have trouble finding pants that fit. I have found a few ready made pairs. You mentioned you may try a 32″ waist and I’ve included a few of those too. For the perfect fit, custom made pants may be the best option and they are surprisingly affordable. The relaxed fit, may be a bit baggy, but I included those as there are just not a whole lot of options at this time. Here’s my picks:

Dickies Slim Fit Multi-Use Pocket Pants (item LP837) – 37″ or 39″ Inseam

Red Kap Tall Cargos – also in tan

Levi’s Cargo Pants – 38″ inseam, starts at 32″ waist. Also in gold.

For the Fit Pants – 40″ inseams – maybe you could get them hemmed.

Wrangler Flat Front, Relaxed Fit – 38′ inseam, limited sizes. Starts at 32″ waists.

Custom Made Chinos – search for “twillino”.
