I received a personal shopper request from Jim, He is trying to find some items for his 16 year old son who is 6’8″ tall. His waist is 34″ and inseam is 38″ with leg opening of 20″ or more. He wears a size 17 shoe (the reason for leg opening size). Items needed are mens pants in causal and dressy style and jeans in relaxed fit. His thigh muscles are large.

Popular among teen, Buckle’s Seth Jeans in loose style with your size and a 20″ leg opening. Here’s the same style with a medium wash.

Classic style Eddie Bauer’s loose fit 5 pocket jeans are also available with a long-rise which is good for most tall guys.

You can’t go wrong with a pair of Levi’s jeans. I had Rochester Clothing measure the leg opening of this pair of Levi’s 550’s in relaxed and the leg opening is 20″. They have a 90 day return policy.

Rochester Clothing also measured the leg opening on this pair of Levi’s Open Rigid-Welder jeans and the leg opening is 20″.

Casual or Dressy Pants

I’m not having much luck with a 34″ waist in casual or dressy pants with a wide leg opening. The widest legs I can find in your size is the following 2 pairs. They both measure 18″ wide at the opening.

Rochester Clothing No Wrinkle Flat-Frong Twill Pants – more of a casual style. They are almost sold out.

Rochester Clothing No Wrinkle Pleated Twill Trousers – a dressier heavier weight style.

Next, I’ve also decided to create my current list of my top 5 places for women’s affordable tall jeans with prices under $50:

  1. Alloy Apparel earns the top stop as they carry women’s tall jeans in the most sizes of 0-25 with inseam lengths of 33″, 35″ and extra long inseams of 37″. Their jeans start at $29.50 and often you can clearance jeans under $20.
  2. dELiAs caters more to teens and they have fantastic prices. They often offer jeans at buy one, get the second for 50% off! They stock women’s tall jeans with 34″, 36″ and 37″ inseam lengths.
  3. New York & Company stocks many pairs of women’s tall jeans for under $50 with most inseams at 35″ long. Their tall sizes tend to sell out quickly.
  4. Old Navy.com offers lots of women’s tall jeans in sizes 0-20. Their long inseams are 34″ and their tall inseams are 36″. Their women’s tall jeans are only sold online. I must say that some style of jeans I have loved while others tend to stretch out and sag by the end of the day.
  5. Boot Barn is not as well known, but they make the top 5 list as they carry a nice selection of western style tall jeans for women in 34″, 36″ and the hard to find 38″ inseam length.

Women’s Tall Teen Outfit: What to Wear Casual

Most teens that we know, don’t have a lot lot of money for clothes. So, we recommend, buying clothing that fits well, yet is affordable. That way you can mix it up with other pieces without breaking the bank. Today we feature an outfit is perfect for hanging out at home or with friends.
