Tall Personal Shopper: Men’s 40 Inseam Jeans With Small Waist

I received a tall personal shopper request from a 6’8″ man. He is 48 year olds and is looking for jeans with a 40″ inseam length and his waist size is 33″. He’s looking for jeans that aren’t too high rise and that flatter his non-existant behind.  (Sorry that last part made me laugh, as is doesn’t matter if we’re male or female, we all want a great looking butt!)

Tall Personal Shopper: For a Tall Couple

I received an email from Heidi. She is looking for clothing recommendations for her 7′ tall boyfriend.
Heidi says, “He is well-built and trendy, but has a hard time finding things that fit his torso, arm length and inseam…without the clothing being enormous. He has a 38 inch waist and would like to wear nice jeans. I’m guessing he has a 38-inch inseam. His shirt size is XL Tall. He’s 29 years old. He also has size 17 feet. I’d say his style is sort of Gap or Banana Republic. He likes to wear button down shirts with jeans and nice shoes.”

Tall Personal Shopper: Soccer Shorts for Tall Thin Guy

I received a request to try and help find some longer length soccer shorts for a tall teen. He is 6’4″ tall and has a 32″ waist.

Soccer shorts generally do not have a long length.  The longest inseam I can find are about a 10″, which is not very long. I hope I’m not off base, but I suggest you go with basketball shorts.  I think it’s better to have longer shorts to avoid the “bird legs look”, then to have the so called “soccer shorts”. The basketball shorts have longer inseams and look similar to many styles of soccer shorts.  Here are some I suggest:

Tall Personal Shopper: Mens Long Rise Jeans

Here is the latest Personal Shopper Request:“Krista, I stumbled across your website after learning today that Lands’ End no longer offers the men’s long-rise jeans and plain front chinos that I have been buying for my husband for at least 20 years.
I’m hoping you can help me find long-rise jeans and/or chinos in size 35″ (or 36″) waist and 33″ inseam. My husband is 69 years old, 6’4″ tall and weighs about 160 lbs. He has a long torso, thus the need for the long-rise. He prefers his jeans in medium to dark blue colors, and is not fond of “distressed” denim with the bleached-in wear marks. We have been spending $50 to $70 for his pants at Lands End, but would spend more if necessary. He lives most of his life in jeans or chinos, so I will be very grateful for any suggestions.
Thank you for your efforts on our behalf.  – Jackie”Jackie,It’s extremely frustrating when a product you have been using for years, suddenly is discontinued.  I feel your pain. I had been purchasing custom made women’s dress shirts from Lands’ End and suddenly one day, they quit selling them.
I think you will find good luck with the following items from Eddie Bauer. You will have to go up to a 36″ waist.

Eddie Bauer – Classic Fit Wrinkle Free Casual Chino Pants – Long Rise, 36″ Waist, Choose with our without cuffs and you can get them in a 33″ inseam.

Eddie Bauer’s Jeans come in set inseams and 33″ are not available. In case a 34″ can work, I recommend:
